The first boxes with finished copies of VANISHED just arrived. After 8 books, this is still an exciting moment in a writer's life.
Here I am opening the first box!

Thank goodness for Photoshop, that's all I can say.
Uh, oh - did they print the dedication? If not, I'm screwed.

Congrats on your eighth book. I share your happiness as you open those boxes. Fabulous, natural, down-to-earth photos. They humanize you for your fans. LOL... I hope you don't mind if I use one to promote VANISHED on Face Book and elsewhere. I may Twitter it, too, if I get a chance.
I have four books under my belt; I'm twice your age and never managed to get a mainstream pub. Oh, well, I know I'm good and that's what counts.

Making its appearance...Vanished!
I Just LOVE it! While your twitpics appearing one by one was suspensefully fun, seeing them all in one place is awesome. You look like a kid opening a huge new box of candy while we watch drooling from afar. At least until August 18th. CONGRATS! :) Merle
