What a Thriller!

I think Vanished is a perfect book to use as an example for a great thriller, with tons of suspense.  I feel as if i am reading two different stories.  It would be great to attend a workshop where this book is used as a template for aspiring writers to practice from.    Although I am not done with the book, it is a wonder to see the transformation Joseph has gone through.  While I enjoyed his previous books, his skills as a writer has gone nowhere.  Nowhere, but up, that is.
